  • what to do with my Wilko Kiwi???

... I can't plant it in the ground because it's frozen solid ATM

Pot it? In compost or John Innes 3? Leave it in the wrapper (surely not?!)

    help much appreciated

Whatever you do with it ultimately, do not plant it anywhere near a window. I planted mine to grow over an archway at right angles to the kitchen patio doors. In summer I need a machete to fight my way out. The vines reach up to the bedroom windows - and I'm not exaggerating. Once established they grow at a phenomenal rate so make sure its well away from anything that you cherish.
Stick it in a pot for now. Mine is very hardy, the fruits don't ripen until after the frost and I'm about 300' up.

ta for that and for the advice about where to locate it!! I'm actually planning to train (imprison) it on a trellis on a west facing garage wall in the back garden. It and the passionfruit vine that I'm going to plant on the other trellis can thug it out for control of the garden...
