I got some from Lidl today, never grown them before. This may seem like a daft question but the plants have flowers on, this seems early, do I leave them on?

I got a tray of 6 plants (Elsanta) from Aldi today for £2.99. They have flowers on.
Actually went into Aldi to get cauliflower plants but the trays were all jumbled up and stacked higher than my head so I couldn't be bothered to move all the heavy trays and just left with the strawberries (and some shopping!).
Will try again another day.Forbidden Fruits make many Jams.

My bro' picked up a tray of six from Lidl for me and got a tray of six for himself. Apparently they were charging £3.50 per tray or two trays for £6.00Tried and Tested...but the results are inconclusive

I put the crowns in last evening, so guess what was the first thing I did this morning? (well, after I switched on the kettle). Yep, checked on the strawberries which I thought might have flopped, but not a bit of it. They're still upright and look really healthy. Out with torch tonight after dark on slug patrol.Granny on the Game in Sheffield

Hi, just an update on the 30 crowns I bought earlier in the year. I planted them in 3 rows of 10 close together so they would fit under a cloche I have. They are doing great, some even have flowers coming. Just wondering what effect it would have if I lifted them and transplanted them? Would it be a no-no at this stage of the year? Ideally I wanted them as edging along this raised bed. As they were dormant crowns (I assume from last summer) would it be ok to let them fruit or should I nip out the flowers? Thanks a lot for any advise.
