Strawberry crowns in Lidl

Well with everything going on I just left them where they were They grew very well and I got a nice crop from the Elsanta. Everything is too close of course but I'll try sort that out during the winter and move them around. Anyway, the Ostara are amazing! I nipped out all the first flowers on these ones as they said they were ever-bearers and I also read it's good to do that for a late crop on ever-bearers. But I forgot all about them. Having a poke around today there's lots of fruit forming!! So a nice late crop on the way. Pity I didn't space them correctly but they should be good plants next year. I remember these crowns also came out in September/October last year so get some in ...

The short answer is - I doubt it!! This thread was started in March
Its worth keeping an eye open for their next offers though as they are good plants. Someone on here will usually flag it up when they see fruit and veg specials at the Lidl/Aldi stores.
