    I had a feeling that might be the case but it was already almost out by the time I noticed it (not been in the garden for ages) so I might as well leave it for now and see how much actually gets fertilised at this time of year.
    I take it that means I'm supposed to rub off the blossom buds as soon as I see them on my apple tree that was planted at the same time really then

      In Liverpool my victoria trees have a 50% of the flowers open , the opal, and bluetit just lots of green flower buds ready to open soon, marjories seedling and czar and a couple of others just tiny buds starting to crack

      All the wild plum trees i know of are flowering round Runcorn

      Peaches and apricots all the trees are now fully flowering, apart from one of the perigrine peach that just has pink buds
      Living off grid and growing my own food in Bulgaria.....
