My plum has had it's blossom and we had a frost and then rain and my apple trees are in blossom now and it hasn't stopped raining for ages. I don't see many insects about to polonate so what can I do . At this rate I can't see us having much fruit this year.

My pear blossomed first and I protected it from frost and now all the blossom has fallen off so hoping it got enough pollinators to produce a crop of some sort.
One of my apples is in blossom now so goodness knows what this weather is doing to it.
I have a plum and an apple that hasn't come into blossom yet so don't know what's going on there. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

The apple tree blossom is carpeting the ground here and drifting around like confetti in the wind. I shall be very lucky not to lose one of the old trees, never mind the blossom. The wind is coming from the north east, instead of the usual west and the trees don't like that - neither do I.
I think the kiwi fruit, with all its young leaves, may be about to take down its pergola support too.
I HATE strong winds!

Blooming weather! My large apple tree has its blossom fully open now, and is about to go over, but the cold, dull weather means all the bees are staying indoors with the central heating on, so I don't think I'm going to get much fruit this year.

for once we seem to be getting the better weather,we missed all that bad rain and storms, blossom on all the fruits seems okay, but bramley is very slow this year to show its blossom, but its starting nicely now, peach in tub is in g/house and i have removed 3/4 of fruits to give them a chance to grow full size,we had our first frost since early march last night and had to cover the french beans and sprouting young peas, hopefully no more of them as we usually dont get harsh weather any later than this......fingers crossed..
