  • Problem with blueberry flowers

I planted my first blueberry bushes about 1 month ago. It is Bluecrop sort and plants are 2 years old. Now they are all blossoming. Problem is that some of bell shaped flowers are turning brown and dry, not all but few of them on some plants. Does anyone knows what could be the problem or maybe that is normal? Is it maybe too dry for plant and needs more water?

    Cheers.

It appears that the flowers should drop off once pollinated.

If you have the time pollinate the flowers by hand with a soft artists paintbrush. The weather's not grest for pollinating insects at the moment....

I would be tempted to leave the flowers alone and let nature take it's course.
