I have purchased and planted a lone 2 year old Espera gooseberry bush in a container. It produced some small fruit in May but since then no signs of flowers or fruit, does it need a partner?

Thanks for your response, I thought it could be a fertilisation problem.Originally posted by rustylady View PostRichard, gooseberries will only flower and fruit once a year. It will be next year before your bush flowers again and no, then don't usually need partners. Welcome to the Vine by the way.
