  • Lemon leaves

I am a bit worried about my Lemon, the new leaves are light green again and you can see the veines, this happened last year and eventually the died and fell off.
The original leaves are dark green and shiny.
I think it might be laking something although it is fed with citros feed once a week.

    Any help would be appreciated

It looks quite normal for new leaves , a few of the older ones look very slightly yellowish but that looks to be just as they are older leaves and going to fall of eventualy, citrus continuously grow leaves and loose old leaves as they are evergreen plants.

New leaves often start like that with a very light colour, as long as when you are feeding it you are using a citrus feed there will be no problems with nutrients , Not all citrus feeds have all the micro nutrients they need Chempak is a good one and the best i have found is the one mailorder from `the citrus center`
Make sure you only water when it drys out, watering to a schedule doesnt work they must dry out at the top few inches between watering

Its always worth misting them every week with very dilute citrus feed ( the 2 listed above are ok to spray on leaves, some other fertilisers can burn leaves )

The leaves will darken quicker if every now and then you give it a light mist spray of a mix of a teaspoon of epsom salts in a litre of water
The same strength mix of potassium nitrate ( some for meat preserving ) will also darken it rapidly, increase growth (and increase fruit set if sprayed every week just before/as it starts to flower )
