last year we had such a bad summer that only the tulameen (i think thats how its spelt) raspberries fruited, the joan j just refused,so i cut the fruited stems to the ground and left the joan j until march when i retied them in and trimmed them to about 5ft,they are now covered in blossom and if half develop fruit then we will have a super glut....drool... and the others are now growing strongly,so another crop due in the autumn,as the "a" team used to say "isnt it great when a plan goes right", pure guessology, but thank you god...will be lovely rasp ice cream as well as blackcurrant, now fruiting up nicely ..![Big Grin](https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/grapevine/core/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
