I have had strawberries for the last year or so and had a few fruits last year but I grew a lot of runners last year and have a few more plants this time round and have a lot more fruit but I just want some other peoples opinions on how they are planted and the care of them.
The younger ones I took the flowers of as they started as I read that they are best not fruiting first time round, I have only done this on a few of them and the I have a few which this will be their second year of fruit and some which I left and will be the first years fruit. I am going to grow some of the runners on the older ones for more next year. (I think I am going to need to label them as I'm forgetting which ones are old and which are new)
Do they look ok to you? Does the fruit look healthy?
These are in an old high bay light diffuser
These are in a wooden container I built from a spare pallet
Hanging basket
Pot
Thanks for looking.
