  • Saturn/donut peach tree

    Never heard of these before yesterday,just eaten my first 1 and wow,now i want a tree lol,on having a google they supposed to be able to grow in uk with care,i have also looked at these archives,my question is,given time has gone since some peeps have had them,what do you think now,as in climate,ease of growing,best place to site it exetra,

      It should be feasible to grow Saturn peaches in Leicester. But you would really need to train it against a sheltered south-facing brick wall in full sun, and you might not be successful every year. Growing against a wall also means you can cover the tree with fleece during late winter to protect against peach leaf curl, which is endemic in the UK. Apart from that, quite easy to grow, and a nice flavour.
