I took a few gooseberry cuttings last year, 'bunged' them in amongst the raspberrys (thought they would be safe from the dogs) and 2 of them have made it through the winter and have green shoots on them, do I leave them where they are or can I dig them up, put them in pots until they are a little bigger?

One of my gooseberry bushes had babies everywhere!!! I have chopped them off and bunged them into the soil and even in this weather are doing well! I think I'm going to need a recipe for gooseberry schnapps this year now!! You probably should pot them up etc, but i wouldn't leave them with the raspberries for too long, as you will disturb their roots when transplanting. I usually do a pretty good job of killing off cuttings so I just put them directly into their final position and can leave them alone now..apart from a bit of feed."Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and...
