as there may be others out there who purchased an aldi peach tree,i found a site that tells you what type and cropping times ,when ripe etc...Peach Fruit,Classification -Clingstone | Freestone | Yellow-Flesh | White-Flesh ,Varieties-Melting Flesh | Non-melting | Peento | Donut peaches ,i found it useful anyway...

peaches now seem full size,but not ripe yet,probably not til october,they do look good though...
