Maybe a how long is a piece of string question, but... I came home from work yesterday and my wife has kindly purchased 1 of each blueberry, blackberry and grape from Aldi. Will one of each plant be enough for a family of 2 adults and 3 children? E.g, would 1 plant supply enough fruits to make a pie/crumble? if not, then how many of each should I now go and get?

I don't know do I? Thick newbie you have to understand!

I don't know to be honest as I'm fairly new this. But I do know it's good to have at least 2 blueberry plants. They yield better if they can cross pollinate. Maybe pick up another one?

How long do you want to wait for your pie? The longer you wait, the bigger the bush and the larger the crop. I would say you stand a good chance with the blackberry next year, the blueberry in 3-4 years and the grapes - depends on whether you grow it in a greenhouswe or outdoors. Don't hold your breath on that one! I'd double or triple up the blueberries, buy a tayberry instead of another blackberry for variety and admire the grapevine!!

I got two tayberries, a loganberry (already got one) and a kiwi .......yeah I know they're all thugs
