Keeping strawberries going

I know you can get late varieties and perpetual types but they seem hard to come by and most types are June bearing. So how do commercial growers keep types like Elsanta going?
If you nipped out the first flowers on June bearers would they put out more flowers later in the summer? Have taken lots of June bearer runners for next year so thinking ahead ...
