        Har har!!

One of the very few benifits of living within the London area.

My nectarine is in full blossom. No, not kept in a greenhouse but sitting out in my fairly sheltered back garden. Crocus bulbs been out for weeks, mind you they have to be tough to survive the pollution down here

I’m always puzzled each year when my next door neighbours flowers come into bloom each year before mine. Both gardens face the same direction so it can't be levels of sunlight. I care and supply my beds with food but he doesn’t touch his at all. It would not be so bad but some of the plants he has I grew from seed and planted for him so in that respect he did even less.

                  Jep, Welcome to the Vine.
Give your Tulips warmth. Put some sort of protection over them. The few weeks’ cold weather we have had in the last month or so have held back a lot of plants. If the tulips are in pots they could be brought into a warm room or even a cold greenhouse would work. Plastic bottles with the bottoms cut off would cover individual tulips if they are spaced out too much to use fleece to warm them.
