    Honeyberry

I've had a honeyberry plant in my garden for 3 years now, I have both the male and female and had flowers on both in the second year. There were berries on the female that year but unfortunately the birds managed to sample them before I did. This year there are many more berries that are already changing colour. I'm hoping to get some this time round. ) I bought a second female and am planting it several feet away, I'll have to wait til next year to see if the male is close enough to give me berries there as well.

Welcome, you may need to put some netting on them as the birds do seem to like them, I didn't think much to them, be curious to know what you think of them.

Honeyberries don't have separate male and female plants - their flowers are hermaphrodites.

Having two DIFFERENT varieties that flower at the same time can improve the crop.
