Hi Guys!
I've just nipped outside into the greenhouse and (although the pictures don't fully demonstrate it) have been excited by the apparent appearance of 'white' growth from certain points on my peach tree. It's entering into its third year on a Montclare rootstock and I was wondering if people are either experiencing the same thing with their peaches, or could identify what these new flashes of life are.
I'm really hoping that they are flowers coming through as they appear to be all over the tree.
It'd be great to see some photos of other peoples peach trees to compare. In fact, it'd be lovely to see any photos from any fruit tree showing signs of life!
For reference, the variety is Avalon Pride. I was also wondering, that if this is a sign of the tree coming into flowering, is now the correct time to prune?
Thanks!
