It's such a bizarre thing that I'm not quite sure how best to handle it - and I don't know whether I might do something I later regret.
I'm normally very tolerant of others, but when someone directly interferes with me it makes me very angry; it takes a lot for me to lose my temper, but when I do, I turn into a monster and people start hiding under tables.

I'm actually wondering whether the action of me planting a new tree at a time when I know they will see me doing it, and making plenty of noise while doing so to ensure they see me, might make a strong point without the risk of, er...... well, you know......ending up in a 6x9..

"Hi, I've been asked by the police to see if anyone saw who vandalised my tree yesterday."
Go and ask anyone who might have seen what happened.

I think it was veggiechicken who, last summer, got involved with identifying a mystery apple tree.
Maybe VC would like to assist in solving this mystery, and help with confirming that what we find are Barnack Beauty wood rather than John Downie (a few nearby people have this as a specimen tree), so that we can positively identify the mutilated remains..

Yeah, if you're going to be angry at anyone, you really need to be angry at the right people, becaue unless you know for sure or are 99% certain it was them, it just sounds a bit mad.
Go and ask them why they did it, and if they splutter, they did, if they haven't got a clue what you're talking about, they didn't.Last edited by taff; 05-03-2013, 12:43 PM.
