  • Vaccinium vitis-idaea (lingonberry or cowberry)

I don't have experience growning fruit (except strawberries and rhubarb). I wanted a small berry plant and I think lingonberry will be perfect, because it does not grown too much and it's hardy. I have been looking for a plant or seeds and I could not find any. Anyone know where can I buy it? It must be an on-line shop.

Also, any other berry plants can be grown in containers or big pots (outdoors)?

    Thank you!

Blueberries would be good in large pots as they like acid soil and you could provide that in a pot. Some of the patio fruit trees can be grown in pots too
Here are some lingonberry stockists Lingonberry 'Ida' - Other Berry Plants - Thompson & Morgan Lingonberries - The Lingonberry Lingonberries - Chris Bowers I'm sure there are others if you do a search.

Thank you, unfortunately, they do not deliver to Northern Ireland. I found lots of companies, but they do not deliver or they charge lot. Maybe I should look for seeds and forget about getting a plant.

The price is good and they have lots of tempting berry plants. I am not sure if they deliver to NI and how much it will costs. I will contact them too. Much appreciated!
