Has anyone ever managed to germinate these and, if so, how? I've had a few in my little propogator and nothing has happened. And if anyone would like any stones/pits to try their own, I have a Hunza habit and am happy to share...

I think you would need a slightly higher temperature as they are from turkey / Afghanistan where it's nearly always dry hot and sunny. Even if you did get them to germinate its very unlikely they would produce or would be able to be kept being honest.Visit my blog at: marksallotment20162017.wordpress.com

I had a client who regularly went to Tajikhistan and I asked her to bring me back stones from the most delicious apricots she tasted there. I put some in the fridge, then after 3 months planted them in the polytunnel, some in the garden in pots at the beginning of winter and some in pots in a warm place in the kitchen but none sprouted.
