I need help with grapes!

Hi,

So I'm always helping my dad out with looking after the garden. A few years ago we started planting fruit trees. We've got apples, plums, raspberries, gooseberries, and a few others. But for Father's Day this year, I thought I'd get him some grape vines!

But here's the problem - I know nothing about them!! Any help on which varieties grow best outdoors in Britain, and how to look after them would be much appreciated!
