  • Best way to proceed with a single strawberry plant?

I've kindly been given a strawberry plant but having done little research in growing fruit and so I don't know how best to proceed with it.

    What are my options

    1. Put it in a bigger pot and put it outside
    2. Plant it out in the garden

Put it in the ground and leave alone hopefully you will

      A, gain some fruit
      B, gain some runners

If neither you have lost nothing
