  • Raspberry canes dying

Last year I planted out raspberry canes on my allotment. Some didn't make it, but those that did were growing well with flower buds coming along nicely. Now 2 are dying. The leaves are shrivelling, to be honest they look as if they have been hit by weedkiller. I don't use the stuff, and I can't see how it could have drifted from a neighbouring plot without affecting the other canes. Nothing seems to have eaten the roots, so I'm at a loss to understand why. Any ideas?
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
    Now a little Shrinking Violet.

Any chance it could be pests? Last week I descovered my black currants and tayberry were walking with greenfly and the new top growth was gone all distorted and curled up.
