blackberry bush

hi all after a blackberry bush for the allotment anyone recomend a good cropping bush

Well, for me nothing beats the wild ones but I have got a thornless "waldo". Brilliant cropper and taste is very good. this year I'm set for a huge glut (fingers crossed!!) it is smothered in flowers.

Got nothing to compare it with but I have Loch Ness, another thornless one. I like the fact it crops over a period of time and not all in one go.
On another point blackberries don't grow on bushes but canes which will need supporting on wires or something similar. You could leave it unsupported and allow to grow in a heap but I think it would make picking and pruning difficult, and possibly leave you scratched!
