  • Sick Sick Blueberry plants :-(

For the last 2 weeks my blueberry bushes (3 in total plus only 3months old) look as if they have rust on their leaves???

    Rust disease?

    Too much water?

    Too much sun?

    Fungal?

    Cheers

Just bumping this before Mathew decides we're ignoring him again
I've no idea what the answer is - or even if there is a real problem.

I think he's expecting miracles from very little information and not very good pictures.

Blueberries need an acid soil, were they potted into ericeous compost? Doesn't seem to be any evidence of disease in fact the red/orange colouring looks like their autumnal colouring. Other than that I don't know as I've never grown them.

Yeah, I'm having trouble making them out. The camera has focussed on the background, not on the plants.

Matthew, does your camera have a macro (close up) setting? (it might have a tulip icon). Try again using that button

You need to ensure your compost is acid, so make sure you have used ericeous compost as mentioned before. The need very good drainage, also, don't overwater.
