Bought one of these this year I was told when i bought it that it fruits far better if it is trained along wires so it fans out .Comment

Pretty much the same as anything -if you can slow the sap down (aka horizontal / near horizontal runs), you'll get more fruit buds.Comment

Jostaberries have a sharp, strong, tart flavour, they do need a lot of sugar and need to be cooked, but beautiful in pies, with cream of course.DottyRComment
