      Bought one of these this year I was told when i bought it that it fruits far better if it is trained along wires so it fans out .

        Pretty much the same as anything -if you can slow the sap down (aka horizontal / near horizontal runs), you'll get more fruit buds.

          Jostaberries have a sharp, strong, tart flavour, they do need a lot of sugar and need to be cooked, but beautiful in pies, with cream of course.

              We have one and just picked 3lb of fruit from it, and more to come. Birds dont bother it at all.
