Looking to buy strawberry plants and come across

    Strawberry (60 day) Vibrant plants

What I would like to know is

    1. As these are new, they will produce runners will they?

    2. Anybody else tried them?

    Thanks in advance

        Hi.
I've never tried this type of strawberry but I have new plants this year and have managed to catch a few runners!
I've only taken one of two per plant to encourage fruit but some must have had 5/6 on each plant!
We have red gauntlet and Cambridge

          Answers to your questions:

          1. No idea, but presumably they will - most strawberries do.

          2. Never tried them.

Never heard of them - so there was no point in trying to answer your questions.

I think it's only alpine strawberries that don't produce runners so these I presume would apart from that I'm no use at all

I did however go to home base a buy a few plants that crop at different times during the summer to try and gain continuos harvest thoroughly the summer

I have 4 different verities at my plot each cropping at different times getting a constant crop too well that's the thought behind it my earlies have not been harvested yet my ever bearers are not ready but my main are far ahead of both so may have them all at the same time I think constant changes in our weather affects the true cropping times

Don't forget you can peg down runners to increase your stock. By the way, whereabouts are you, and do you grow in your garden or on an allotment? If on an allotment fellow plot-holders may be able to let you have rooted runners.
