  • Help ID bug on Blueberry plant?

    Hi Guys,

Anybody have any idea what bug has made itself home on my Blueberry plant. It has a hard shell, but squashes quite nicely when you squeeze it against the stem

Here is a picture I took of one, hopefully you can see it, the arrow helps!

    Thanks

    Gavin

Scale insect - I've found them really hard to eradicate - had them on my indoor lemon and had to chuck it out in the end 'cos I got fed up of squashing and washing them off, you just can't see the tiny ones.
    Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
    Endless wonder.

I had some sort of scale insects on my lemon-lime tree. I sprayed the infestation daily with a few teaspoons of washing up liquid in a litre of water. It was very effective.
