watermelon seedlings - advice please!

Have planted a number of watermelon seeds and now have resulting seedlings (still indoors) about 8". any advice re - planting out, amount of space needed etc, many thanks

Melons

We are growing melons, not Water. Honeydew i think. We are growing blindly to, but plan to treat them like squash. Hoping it works

I'm trying melons too I was going to grow mine up the back of the green house on the inside up string or cane you normaly only get 2 melons per plant
once the melon is forming i was going to use one of Mrs D Bras to support it
think theyll be big enough

I've just finished planting some watermelon seeds a few minutes ago, so fingers crossed they will grow. I am going to be keeping them indoors on the window sill for the time being seeing as that method seems to be working for my other seeds that are just starting to grow lol.

right, I have a tiny little seedling that has appeared which you can barely see lol. anyone know how long it takes for them to start growing properly? I planted the seeds 4 days ago.
