Yes I have had some fruit, not a great deal, but I only obtained it this summer. Sorry I should have been more specific, yes I was wondering if it should have got so spotty.

presumably you're watering it with rainwater, and it's in ericaceous compost?

Yes and Yes. I have bark on top of the soil too. Made sure I did all my research before planting it. It looks like my blackberry plant is affected as well :/

It could just be natural die back, you know when trees drop their leaves in autumn?
My dwarf French beans are doing it
