I have a couple of blackberry plants, bought from one of our local cheapo supermarkets (Laldi/ Iddle)
My question:
Can I grow these in a trough, and if so, what size do I need - my plan is to plant them behind a 3 sleeper high (on edge) wall, between that and the fence. (I have a garden railway running along the top of the sleepers and want something that will be easy to maintain/move if neccessary.) The space I have is 1 foot between sleepers and fence, and about 2 foot from ground level to the top of the sleepers.
