As a supporter of keepers (love the place ) thought i would say on Mon BBC 2 19.00 is a programe called great british garden revival which contains a report on keeper thougt i would share
".....Keepers Nursery is being featured in a BBC Two TV gardening series called Great British Garden Revival. The ninth episode of the series entitled Fruit Trees and Ornamental Bedding to be broadcast at 7:00pm on Monday 13th January includes a section in which the gardening presenter Toby Buckland visits the nursery and our collection of fruit trees. We are very proud and honoured to have been included in this programme and feel that it is a tribute to the work we have done over many years to preserve and make available to gardeners rare and unusual varieties of fruit which form such an important part of the heritage of British gardening. Details of the programme can be found on the BBC website
I have just given it a real pruning before it comes into leaf in the hope of getting some regeneration and the tree not having to work as hard getting water and nutrients higher up. If this doesn't work I'll replace it next year with something else.
