Potted blueberry, what to do with it?

I received by post a blueberry (actually a variant called PinkBerry) bush in a pot. It's in full leaf, about 18" high and all new growth rather than a bare whip, in a 2L pot (diameter 10-15cm).
Because it's got new growth and leaves I'm unsure if it should go outside or not. The website said currants and berries are typically planted during the winter and as spring is on the way, should I put it in the garden?

It should be outside, but it may have been kept in a protected environment before it was shipped out. It might be a good idea to harden it off instead of putting it straight outside

As Fleurisa said, I wouldn't expect it to be in full leaf at this time of the year unless it has been grown under cover.

Do you have an unheated greenhouse or cold frame you could put it in for a few weeks?

That's exactly the one I've got... but I don't see anything on that page to help me. I guess I've a 2yr old plant... the recommendation would still be it needs a little care? I've only got a small garden but it is very sheltered... would that be OK? I could bring it inside or into the garage to avoid frost, is that the real danger?

If you don't have the indoor space, you could always cover with fleece. Mine were always left to the elements & didn't suffer from the frost but as has been mentioned it may have been reared under cover.

Would one of those muslin cloths be suitable?

I've had a similar problem with a dwarf pomegranate coming out of dormancy, which I have transferred to a North facing windowsill until it's 100% safe to go outside. Your blueberries should be a little more hardy though. I'd be tempted to put horticultural fleece over it, but put still it in the garage if frosts are expected. Having sprung into life it will need a little more care to protect it until all danger of frost is past. Next year if left outside it will re-adopt it's correct cycle
