      I think this is just a small sample of what we are going to get this year.
      Feed the soil, not the plants.
      (helps if you have cluckies)

        Hello OP. I started a thread on a weird thing on my Red currents. It's the same as yours! They are in fact Scale insects ( thank you grape viners) They don't seem to damaging but I scraped off all that I could find and I'll give them a spray when the rain stops....Yucky!

          If they are scale insects the health of your tree hangs in the balance and you need to weigh up your response carefully.(sorry)
