I read it as if Bal had popped in to buy canes for something else and spotted the strawberries whilst in.

The two weren't to be used together.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

My strawberries were brilliant last year, this year, dispite being netting ,strawed and pelleted, they are very squiggy, and being eaten, not by slugs, but ants I think? Anyone else having this problem? Def not as good as last year, just turned some into a coulis, nice with ice cream.

My kids are happily scoffing all mine! No chance of there being any left for jam.
