Pineberry white strawberry fans,

this is a seedling ive raised from a pineberry, usually seedlings raised from pineberry tend to fruit red or pinky, due to most (not all) pineberrys being female, being pollinated by another strawberry tends to lead to seedling varying in colour from parent,

this one is the whitest pineberry seedlings i have produced not sure whos pollinated it to give it white offspring, even most pineberry types get a pink or yellow hue when in the sun or left to ripen but this one stayed pure white, hopefully this strawberry will produce white seedling offspring to make the line stable , Stew

Interesting research but I'm sorry they're just don't look very appetising to me. Remind me of lychee.

My first year them. Strangely only one of the berrys so far has really emulated the Pineapple flavour the others berrys, even from the same plant have tasted more strwberryish. Weird things....

I had my first pineberry yesterday and it was delicious. Very pineappley. I'm cultivating a few runners so I'm hoping to be able to continue next year

Interesting research but I'm sorry they're just don't look very appetising to me. Remind me of lychee.

They don't look as appetising to the birds either as they think they're unripe . More left for me
