niche market!

Well based on my fruit growing prowess I've decided that I should be catering to a niche market - namely pixies!

Picked my first blueberries n they are teeny tiny with the whole first crop weighing a whopping 11g lol!

I won't be living the good life anytime soon

Are they deffo Blueberries as they look like Blackcurrants to me.

Curse of the diminutive blueberries here too. I actually lopped off about 1/3 of the crop earlier in the season in the hope that would help, but no discernable improvement over last years. My blackcurrants (Ben Lomond) are actually about 50% bigger than my blueberries (Bluecrop). I do have other blueberris which my crop differently, but I'll have to wait and see in future years as they only went in this year

Defo blueberries big mally - ate them in one gobfull any they were quite tasty just not much chewing!

Not sure what kind they are as lost the label - is a really compact plant with small leaves so I should have expected small fruits! I have some other plants with fruit on that look more normal sized so fingers crossed they end up better!

I would have agreed with Bigmally, they look much more like blackcurrents then blueberries.
