Hi all,
I spotted a very well camouflaged caterpillar on my apple tree down at the allotment yesterday. I didn't kill it as I didn't know what it was but it looked pretty much identical to this:

I'll see if I can find it again this weekend to make sure it is exactly the same. Question is, how bad for the apple tree is it and any other advice please?
