Thats a good list to be going on with, thanks. I'm hoping that having bought from Keepers my trees will be healthy, but only time will tell.
I'm going to look into crabs as well. It would be quite straightforward to put 2 or 3 with a range of blossom dates in a line between rows and train them as a columnar form. I may start another thread on that later.
