Help please identifying plum tree

Hi all,
I've recently moved into a new home and a small plum tree has fruited in the garden, it would be great if I could find out which variety it is, so here is a little pic I took. The fruit are roughly 3cm across.

Hiya Peagreen, what you have there is a cherry plum. We,ve just had some tonight, red ones and yellow ones.
