I bought a red and black currant cane beginning of the year, one died but not sure which one. I had an impression that either one would be a bush but mine are growing as a ground cover. Also I have noticed that other people's red currant are thorn less, mine are not. They appear to look like blackberries?

I been ripped off then
Its my first year in fruit gardening so I just been letting it do it own thing. Its only today when I googled about red/black currant that I noticed that mine looks like nothing like the images on Google.
Its the last thing I want I been getting rid of brambles all year round that been growing wild in the garden from before I moved here.

It was from pound stretcher. Was nt a stray seedling, I had this planted in the ground first but did n't plan the height of the other plants over shadowing it so moved it to a pot, the new growth(what you can see) was attached to the cane I bought.
So must have been put in the wrong box.
Pretty ironic, this plant nearly died on me and I nursed it back to health only to find I don't want it and one time had plenty of them in the garden to start with.

how silly of me.
I bought a tayberry and raspberry as well(one of those died as well). When I did first plant in the ground I made a garden plan on my laptop where every plant was planted, of cos I re-potted every fruit. I probably got confused in the re-redesign.
Is this a red/black currant bush?
I have to apologize for wasting everyone's time for my disorganizationAttached Files
