its my first go at growing melons this year and iv had loads of flowers but theyr all male! iv been taking them off but i cant even see any female ones developing..

I grew melons last year and it was well into the season before any female flowers formed! They did form eventually though and a couple of melons from an outdoor plant wasn't bad for this area I thought!
Just be patient, and the female flowers will surely form eventually!My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order

The male flowers have a thin stalk but the female have a swelling which if fertilised will turn into the melon.Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
