When do these mature? I planted a green and a black bush in jan and they are still quite small.....

Hi Grovsey, I split some gooseberry bushes up after harvesting last summer. They havn't grown much but the gooseberies on them are ready to harvest now.I you'st to have a handle on the world .. but it BROKE!! -
You might get fruit in year two with a new, young plant. Certaintly if it is a modern variety you will get a crop by year 3.The weeks and the years are fine. It's the days I can't cope with!
