I damaged a red falstaff apple tree by overspray with roundup , just orderded a new one is there another apple a with good taste , I should look at , I love the crisp fresh sweet taste and a little acidity

I would suggest going to an apple day as the taste thing is so personal. Also ask friends, neighbours etc to try theirs if they have apples, as where they are grown can also factor. I know it will mean waiting a while but at least you will get what is right for you.
Where abouts are you by the way? If you put it in your profile it will help peeps give specific answers.
