I have a bed about 6.5ft by 6ft which can be made slightly bigger if needed where I wanted to plant: Discovery apple, Victoria plum, Williams pear and a 4th as yet unknown.
It is south facing but in partial shade due to the guy in front having 7ft blue netting hanging up! They would still get some sun so are they ok to plant in that spot?
Also I know you can get dwarf varieties but can you just prune full size versions to keep them smallish?
Also I could extend the bed to 7ft by 6ft in which case could I then fit 2 of each for the apple, pear and plum in that space?
