First Strawberries of the Year

The Strawberry plants I left in the polytunnel over winter are full of flowers - and I've got 5 strawberries ripening

I have loads of runners in my greenhouse that I was trying to bring on a bit and have had to pick a few flowers off to stop them fruiting, the honeoye ones have gone flower mad, presumably because they are an early variety.

Nice! After reading this I'm going to try a few of mine in the greenhouse to see if they come a bit earlier

I have a few plants in the greenhouse which k bought in Sept and it has been unheated since. Is it true if the temp gets too high they don't produce flowers and then fruits?
