Strawberry Question

I have a bed of strawberries on the allotment, and have recently acquired a couple of pineberry plants.

Would it be ok to plant with the red strawberries or should I keep them separate, I was wondering if cross pollination would be a problem, and would I end up with pink berries!!!

Are you intending to grow new plants from seed? That's the only time I think you'd need to worry about cross pollination.
