I hacked my Bramley and Victoria c.18 months ago and thought I had killed them. They are producing leaves but no blossom? They are my best trees and I want them back to full health? Have I got a chance? Thank you x

Bramley & Victoria no blossom overpruning

If you heavily prune a healthy mature fruit tree, it will respond by putting on a lot of growth, rather than fruiting. This is why heavy pruning is generally not a good idea. Try to tie the vertical shoots a bit more towards the horizontal, this will encourage the trees to produce fruit buds this summer, which will become blossom next spring.
