Grey raspberries.

In a shady part of the garden I noticed what looked like wild raspberries.
The berries looked like raspberries and were red like raspberries.
But they were not soft and ripe.
They only went soft when they turned colour to grey.
Seems a bit weird to me.
Tasted like raspberries.
But grey ?
Anyone know what they might be ?

Some of yellow/golden varieties can look a bit grey, was it anything like ........

Pictures attached, I think.
Looking at them in the punnet they look very dark burgandy.
There is a wild blackberry nearby.
Could they be some form of hybrid.

looks like yellow raspberries from the photo. Probably the variety All Gold

Look like a black raspberry to me.
AP, the yellow ones are BB's yellow raspberries.

The yellow raspberry pic was me trying to work out the grey colour mentioned in first post AP I wonder if they are tayberries ??? Seems strange that they turn grey before they are edible

I can't find much on G@@gle.
Black fruiting raspberry, rubus leucodermis/occidentalis/plants for sale.
These look similar though not as "obviously" raspberry shaped as yours. Think they are very common in the US

Looks like a loganberry or one of the hybrids to me.
How does it grow? Tall and reasonably upright or long trailing stems that root at the tips?
Is it viciously thorny. soft thorny or smooth stemmed?

I've got these on my allotment (planted them a couple of years ago). But I have to confess I can't remember what they are!! I agree it's confusing because when they are rasp colour they are still inedible. We eat them when the red is darkening and when they come off in your hand with a little tug though I agree they are quite tart at that stage. But if you leave them until they are sweet, they seem to rot very quickly.

I THINK they are tayberries, or perhaps loganberries.
